Daily Herald - Aurora man's promotion launched English-learning success

Jorge Blancas, kitchen manager at Aurelio's Pizza in Naperville, almost gave back his promotion to a management position because he couldn't communicate well enough with English-speaking employees. But after a year and a half of tutoring through Literacy DuPage, his bosses and tutors say he's a learner worth recognizing and a role model for others with limited English skill.
