All events have been cancelled due to COVID-19.

These are fun and exciting events that we hosted previously:

Celebrating Achievement at Our Annual Recognition Luncheon

This special luncheon was our yearly celebration of the hard work, dedication, and progress that our learners had made, working to achieve their language goals in partnership with their volunteer tutors. Our 2021 luncheon was cancelled due to COVID-19. Check back here in the Spring for details for our 2022 Recognition Event.

Enjoy Wine, Food, and Success Stories at “Reading Between the Wines”

Previously, this wine-centric luncheon in February was Literacy DuPage’s largest fundraiser each year. “Reading Between the Wines” was an annual event at which we celebrated learners’ success stories and generated support for the vital English language instruction that we provide throughout DuPage County. After COVID-19 subsides, we intend to re-instate a new version of this event.

Volunteer with Us at Ribfest

Due to COVID-19, Ribfest 2021 was cancelled. We look forward to volunteering in 2022!

Every year, Literacy DuPage gathers a team of volunteers to help at one of DuPage County’s most popular summer events: Naperville’s Ribfest, hosted by the Exchange Club of Naperville. We do this because it’s fun and because the Exchange Club does so much good in the community. As a gesture of their generosity, they often reward our participation with a kind donation to Literacy DuPage. The more involved our team can be, the more visibility and support we gain for Literacy DuPage at the event.

Check back here in May 2022 for volunteer opportunities and details.
